The Ascension art program focuses on learning to enjoy, appreciate and create art. Students will participate in weekly art experiences allowing them to explore artists past and present, art vocabulary, multicultural art, the many styles of art and the various techniques and media used to create art.
Through art students will grow to be well rounded individuals. While enjoying hands on art activities they will be engaged in critical thinking and developing problem solving skills that will benefit them in other subject areas and throughout their lives.
